Darryl's Garden - Photo Study

Experimenting with purple and yellow in this piece didn’t turn out as well as I hoped. Even though they’re complementary hues, the combination didn’t quite work in this illustration. I pushed the local colors too far... purple skies just feel a weird. Still, it was a valuable exercise in environment and architectural painting, a genre of artwork that I need more practice on.
