Reflection

Opacity and layers are one of the functions of a digital painting software that is hard to replicate in traditional media. Being able to manipulate a layer’s opacity to have it look faded allows a lot of flexibility and saves a tremendous amount of time in painting. These functions are what I messed around with heavily in this piece. Figuring out how light interacts with the objects and characters in the scene was also a challenge I had to tackle in this illustration.

I really love how this technical piece turned out. This was one of my favorite krita-artists challenge from last year.
