Kiki's Fear

Facial expressions are hard to replicate in art. Whether one is trying to capture it in pencil sketch, oil paint, or clay sculpture, it is hard to convey the exact expression that is meant to be portrayed. 2024’s Kiki challenge in krita-artists.org prompts us to illustrate a 5 year old Kiki’s fear. Instead of focusing on what Kiki was afraid of, I decided to focus on the facial expression itself.

Clearly, I didn’t too well, lol. It was a good exercise nonetheless.
