Outside Eating

What began as an entry for the Daily Spit Paint group in Facebook turned into a fully developed illustration four years later. I really love the loose brushwork of the original, and I know I wanted to preserve that as much as possible… so I was very careful in which parts of the image I truly wanted to work on. The end piece is definitely better than the original, while retaining the charm of it’s predecessor.
